Maltese drivers spend 52 hours stuck in traffic per year, according to a comparative study done by the University of Malta. The study also revealed that traffic and traffic accidents cost the taxpayer some €274 million.

A board of inquiry, tasked with investigating the case involving MP Toni Bezzina forcing government workers to do 'voluntary work' in a PN club, has come to the conclusion that the workers feared Bezzina and any negative repercussions of refusal, so they signed the false declaration presented to them.

Former PM Lawrence Gonzi called for an investigation into why oil trader George Farrugia's brothers were not arraigned while former minister Manuel Mallia was in charge of home affairs. Appearing for the second time in front of the PAC, Gonzi was questionned further about his alleged familiarity with Cathy Farrugia and her husband.
