Projects Malta, the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association and the ministry for tourism are currently in talks to discuss potential solutions to overcrowding on public beaches.

Talks took place after a call for applications for the development of the proposed floating modules in St Thomas bay in Marsascala and the area known as ‘il-Banju tas-Sorijiet’ in Marsalforn, Gozo. One submission was made for the Marsaskala project, which will be evaluated in the coming days.
