The task force has been tasked with organising this year’s Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

Muscat was responding to a parliamentary question by shadow justice minister Jason Azzopardi who had asked Muscat to provide a list of the people who have been employed on a position of trust basis in departments, entities and authorities that fall under the Office of the Prime Minister.

Muscat added that a person of trust has been employed within the Industrial Projects and Services Limited.

In response to a separate parliamentary question by Opposition MP George Pullicino, Education Minister Evarist Bartolo said that six people have been employed on a position of trust basis within departments that fall under his Ministry since October 2014.

"All the peope employed within my Secretariat are people of trust, whose contracts are based on the document for engagements of staff for Ministers' Secretariat," Bartolo added.
