In the Press: 15% of HSBC staff apply for early retirement

HSBC has received what it called an unexpected deluge of applications for early retirement, with some 15% of its middle and top management applying. Applicants are offered three years' pay as compensation if their application is accepted.

The Nationalist party has given a voice to the people, leader Simon Busuttil said in a radio interview. The PN would continue to stand up for the Maltese people in parliament as the 'government's mask falls away', Busuttil said.
