In the Press: Eurobarometer shows Maltese optimistic about economy, less trusting of government

The results of a Eurobarometer survey show an increase in the Maltese people's optimism about the economy, rising 12 points over last year, while trust in the government fell five points.

A German man was found dead in his cell after a suspected suicide at the police headquarters in Floriana on Saturday. The man had been arrested on suspicion of theft and drug-related crimes.
