Prime Minister Joseph Muscat is on his way to Dubai where he will be addressing the World Government Summit.

He is accompanied by environment minister Leo Brincat, energy minister Konrad Mizzi and head of civil Mario Cutajar.

The World Government Summit is the largest annual government gathering in the world focused on shaping the future of governments by encouraging innovative practices in government work and services. The summit brings together decision makers and leading experts in the field of government, and provides a unique opportunity for governments, authorities, academic institutions and leading international organizations from around the world to share experiences and practices.

The World Government Summit showcases the latest and future trends in government. It explores innovative concepts for reinventing governments and enhancing quality and efficiency and sheds the light on innovative global practices in government service delivery, hence helping shape the future of governments.

The fourth edition of the World Government Summit is taking place this week, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister of Dubai, and will include two exhibitions and three international awards.
