In the Press: Stalled union negotiations leave Air Malta workers in the dark

Negotiations between the four unions representing Air Malta employees and the airline's managament have not yet begun, leaving workers in the dark over their future.

PN MP Paula Mifsud Bonnici said that the government had spent millions on dubious deals and lost millions in EU funding, but could not find the funding to alleviate this problem.

A 27-year-old Polish man is to be extradited in the coming days to face charges over the grisly murder of woman in Poland. Kajetan Poznanski is accused of beheading the 30-year-old woman, who was giving him Italian lessons, and burning her remains.
