Man grievously injured in traffic accident

A 25-year-old man lost control of his car and crashed into a wall yesterday at about 11.20 p.m. in Triq Sant’Antnin, Marsascala, injuring himself grievously.

The District Police, who arrived on site minutes later, found an extensively damaged Hyundai Accent blocking the carriageway leading to Żabbar. They also noticed that part of a recycling plant’s boundry wall had collapsed upon impact.

The Żejtun resident was taken to Mater Dei hospital to have his injuries tended to.
