Keith Schembri's financial advisers, Nexia BT, have confirmed that the investment into his secret New Zealand trust would come from his personal businesses. Leaked emails show the trustees in New Zealand were wary of dealing with Schembri and minister Konrad Mizzi due to their status as politically exposed persons.

17 species of fish found in the Mediterranean regularly fished for by Maltese fishermen have been declared to be suffering the effects of over-fishing, or else their population number remains unknown. The only fish mentioned to have sustainable numbers was the tuna.

A fourth company linked to Malta has been revealed in the Panama papers. Brian Tonna from Nexia BT, who opened Keith Schembri and Konrad Mizzi's secret companies, also opened a company for Cheng Chen. This is the same man who negotiated a deal with Mizzi, Schembri and Joseph Muscat in order to sell Enemalta for €320 million.

The newspaper reports the devastating after-effects of yesterday's missing Egyptair flight 804. Depicting a hysteric relative of one of the victims making a phone call at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, the report explains that the flight from Paris to Cairo crashed with all 66 people on board, most likele due to a catastropic event, most likely a bomb exploding. The crash was confirmed after debris from the plane was found in the sea close to Crete.
