In the Press: €148 million declared in offshore holdings, CBM

The newspaper quoted figures by the Central Bank of Malta which show that over €148 million were declared in offshore holdings following tax amnesties granted since 2002. Almost half this ammount was flagged in 2014 alone.

In response to a question by NP MP Robert Arrigo, tourism minister Edward Zammit Lewis yesterday insisted that the most crucial routes for AirMalta would be retained, but the network would have to change to fit with that of Alitalia.
