Updated | Motorcyclist hospitalised after Marsa car crash

A 55-year-old motorcyclist from Qormi was hospitalised after he was involved in a collision with a car in Marsa this evening.

The police said in a statement that the crash occurred at around 7:30pm at Triq l-Istabal. The man, who was driving a Piaggio Vespa, crashed into a VW Polo that was being driven by a 20-year-old man from Zebbug.

The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital for treatment, and the police were later informed that he suffering from critical injuries.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
