A traditional Maltese crib is to be exhibited in St Peter’s Square at the Vatican

The crib, which took two days to be loaded into two containers left Malta yesterday and is currently on its way to the Vatican.

The crib will be in St Peter’s Square from the first week of December to the 8 January. The crib will then be exhibited in various locations around Malta.

The crib contains a number of characteristics of Maltese countryside, architecture as well as flora and fauna and was chosen by the Culture directorate in collaboration with Heritage Malta.
