Parliament approved Budget 2017 in 4 and half hour session
The country’s budget for 2017 which was presented in October was approved in Parliament this afternoon.
Government and Opposition MPs voting on the budget allocation for each ministry, motions for amendments put forward by the opposition, as well as supplementary estimates and the Appropriation Bill.
The government won each vote 37 to 31.
