Malta Public Transport will be gradually increasing its night services, starting today with one Valletta-St Julian’s route.

According to Malta Public Transport commercial director Daniel Grech, the company has moved to extend night services following feedback it received from passengers.

Thus, the night route N13, servicing Valletta to St Julian’s, will be extended to Wednesdays and Sundays, besides its existing Friday and Saturday service.

The additional service will be operating from Valletta towards St Julian’s between 11:30pm and 01:10am, and from St Julian’s to Valletta between 11:50pm and 01:30am every 20 minutes.

“This is a service that we are offering over and above our contractual obligations in an attempt to offer our passengers a cost-effective way to travel at night,” Grech said.

The fare for the night service will remain unchanged, at €2.50 for passengers using a tallinja card, and €3 for tickets purchased on the bus.
