€25,198 collected so far in Ohloq Tbissima Marathon

The 60-hour live broadcasting Ohloq Tbissima Marathon kicked off yesterday at noon and carries on uninterrupted till Sunday 16th July at midnight

€25,198 have so far been collected during the 15th televised edition of Ohloq Tbissima Marahon in aid of missions supported by the Missionary Society of St Paul (MSSP).

The marathon was attended by both Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Opposition leader Simon Busuttil who this morning helped pack boxes with food for families in need.

The official opening was follwed by Mass, the Children’s corner, Staqsini 20, a discussion, a Dance Festival, a Song Festival and the evening variety show started at 9pm.

The programme will carry on during the night with prayer and discussion.

The public is encouraged to participate by visiting St. Joseph Home in St. Venera and by making a monetary contribution to support this missionary activity.
