Alex Perici Calascione promises ‘responsible and disciplined’ PN finances

Perici Calascione promises to continue on the PNs financial restructure in ‘the most responsible and disciplined way’.

The PN leadership contender, who served as the party’s treasurer, argues that the way forward involves a modernisation and reorganisation of the party’s financial procedures.

Earlier this year, outgoing Opposition leader Simon Busuttil said that the new leader will inherit a party with its finances in order.

Perici Calascione said that for this to happen, the party needs to maximise ICT technologies.

Perici Calascione’s financial plans are only some of the proposals in his efforts to make the PN a “winning party”.  A campaign office, set to work on political strategy all year round, and a permanent ELCOM office have also been proposed by the contender.

He also reinstated his efforts to remake the party one that listens to the people. “It need to be adapted to reflect today’s society”, he said.
