Police investigations into Friday’s shooting, which saw one man murdered and another seriously injured, are ongoing, as they try to establish the motive for the crime.

Raymond Grima, 61, who was shot in his upholstery shop in Mdina Road, Attard, remains in critical condition after being operated upon.

Angelo Mangion, 58, from Qormi was killed in the shooting, having been shot four times.

The main suspect in the shooting was reported to be in police custody, and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for a check-up. Police did not confirm whether he is still in hospital.
