Corpse found in the sea in Anchor Bay lifted by helicopter

At around midday today, Police were informed of a corpse in the sea in Anchor Bay, Mellieha. 

The unidentified male body was retrieved by a helicopter and patrol boat belonging to the Armed Forces of Malta. 

Police Magistrate Dr J. Demicoli LL.D was informed and various experts have been brought on to assist with the case.

Police investigations are underway.
