[WATCH] Thousands descend on Rabat for second edition Natalis Notabilis
The Christmas market in Rabat includes over 80 stalls set up along the streets of Rabat selling a whole range of local artisanal products
Thousands of people have flocked to Rabat to enjoy the second edition of Natalis Notabilis, a Christmas market set up along the village’s streets.
The market opened last Thursday and will run till this Tuesday. Some 80 stalls have been set up along the streets of Rabat, selling a wide variety of local artisanal products and Christmas treats like ‘Qaghaq tal-Ghasel’, ‘Qastan tal-imbuljuta’, and traditional Maltese coffee.
In addition to the market, historical buildings in Rabat also hosted a number of performances, including a new drama production called ‘Scrooged’, while a nativity trail was also organised in the Franciscan Friar’s garden.
