Nobody injured in armed robbery from Attard shop

A shop in Attard was the target of an armed robbery on Friday night, the police said.

Nobody was injured when a man wearing a hoddie entered the shop in Triq il-Linja and demanded money from the 36-year-old female employee. The crime happened at around 8pm.

The man is alleged to have been carrying a firearm. He made off from the scene with an undisclosed sum of money.

Police investigations are ongoing.
