The bomb went off near a market in Bu Dazira, wounding 14 people.

At least 14 people have been injured when a car bomb went off close to a market in Easter Benghazi.

The head of the Al-Jalaa Hospital confirmed to the Libya Observer that the injured have admitted to the hospital however there is as yet no confirmation on the severity of their injuries.

The area surrounding the blast has reportedly been cordoned off and authorities are carrying out an investigation.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
