Man grievously injured after car crashes into St Paul's Bay residence

A young man was grievously injured in the early hours of the morning when his car crashed into a St Paul's Bay residence. 

According to police, the 21-year-old Polish man, a resident of San Ġwann, was driving a Citroen Xsara on Triq il-Knisja at 12.30am when he lost control of the vehicle.

Police were called to the scene, with paramedics taking the young man to Mater Dei hospital by ambulance.  

Police investigations are ongoing.
