UK police investigating Kevin Spacey sexual assault allegations

Hollywood star Kevin Spacey is being investigated by UK police over complaint filed with the police on Tuesday by a man who claimed that he had woken up to find Spacey performing a sexual act on him.

The man, who was 23 at the time, said he fled the address they were at after Spacey told him not to tell anyone.

According to sources who spoke to The Sun, the complainant had asked the House of Cards star to help him with his career.

Metropolitan Police confirmed they were investigating an alleged assault on a man from 2008 but would not confirm the allegation was made against the House of Cards star, when contacted by the BBC.

The news comes after a several sexual harassment allegations made against Spacey in recent days.

According to CNN, allegations regarding spacey have been made by up to eight individuals who have worked, or are currently working on, the Netflix series House of Cards.

The series was suspended on 31 October, following allegations by Anthony Rapp, who claimed Spacey had tried to seduce him when he was 14. Spacey said the did not remember the incident, but apologised.
