Ta' Frenc Restaurant, set in an authentic old farmhouse surrounded by beautiful country views of Xaghra, Zebbug & Marsalforn valley is Gozo's most well known name in the catering industry. It has won numerous awards over the years and offers an authentic and original product in every respect.

Once you enter the courtyard through the stone-arched gateway of the centuries-old building that is Ta' Frenc Restaurant, you see the herb garden, not merely decorative, but one that plays an important role in the life of the cuisine offered within Ta' Frenc Restaurant. Another unique feature about this venue is the use of authentic and locally grown ingredients such as the bread baked in-house, the sun-dried salt that comes from the salt pans in Xwejni, and the pure Gozo honey used to sweeten herbal infusions, prepared with freshly picked herbs from the garden. These details all add up to a unique dining experience that has become unmistakably Ta' Frenc Restaurant.

One of the most exciting developments for the restaurant is that the owners have made a considerable investment in olive trees. Imported several years ago from Sicily, these trees are now established in a new olive grove close to the restaurant.

Ta' Frenc Restaurant spells chic: its walls are adorned with original works of art by local artists and a collection of traditional Maltese clocks, and a lovely collection of decanters are displayed in niches along the walls. Its decor is a beautiful mélange of traditional and modern - the older part of the restaurant was a farmhouse with the original animals' mangers still visible.

An extensive and award-winning wine list, with bottles housed in a stunningly-designed cellar, which is available for private dining, offers wines from local vineyards as well as from around the world, with an emphasis on the great wines of Bordeaux. The latest innovation, a first for the Maltese islands, is house champagne bottled especially for Ta' Frenc Restaurant by the prestigious house of Boizel. Island Caterers', Chief Operating Officer, Raphael Cauchi said, "We are thrilled to be working with the fantastic team at Ta' Frenc Restaurant and be in a position to market this venue both locally and internationally. The owners and management team of Ta' Frenc Restaurant have a very similar work ethic to ours within Island Caterers and we are very much looking forward to working closely with them to build on the excellent results achieved to date"

Ino Attard, who operates the Ta' Frenc Restaurant, said, "We are happy to have this new working relationship and collaboration with Island Caterers, as it will surely help to create more business in Gozo and pave the way to new opportunities for Ta' Frenc Restaurant".
