Andre Moazed, trained by Laamouz also won the 17-year-old junior class at the same tournament.

Laamouz started his training with former Commonwealth Boxing Champion, Scott Dixon in 2008 and now manages his own training from Lord's Gym in St Julian's.

This cup comes after a string of wins over the last year. Laamouz beat the Swiss champion, Meuli Zino, in the 64kg last June at a match up in Chur in Switzerland, won the BK Kelly Box Open Tournament in Orebo, Sweden in May, two match ups in London in May, and the Uppsala Box Open in Sweden in January.
