When the Christmas season is done and dusted the reality of the dreary winter sets in and along with the larger than normal waistline we tend to start to feel a little down in the dumps about everything.

The best way to get over the holiday blues is to get up and get moving, eat better and plan something fun. And what is more fun than a holiday? Marc Casolani is touring the Grampians – a rich national park in Australia. If you’re looking to get away for a while and breathe in some fresh air, then why not consider camping under some of the brightest stars you’ll ever see!

Holidays need not be that far out of reach though. Mandy Farrugia makes the most out of a quick stopover in Milan – an easy trip that is well within reach for most us. Or if you’ve really gone overboard in the spending department this Christmas, check out some of the exciting things to do right here in Malta over the winter months.

Hearty food that’s good for you is not as difficult as you might thin. Michael Diacono has some great ideas for some warming fish dishes while Rebecca Bugeja has some interesting soup recipes that are prefect for anyone following a gluten-free diet.
