July is here, school is out and everything seems to slow down a little. Days are at their longest and we make the most out of them by going out more frequently. Life is good.

Summer is festival season and with Glastonbury stories still fresh in everyone’s mind, is it time to book another music festival. Whether you are looking for a particular genre of music, a crazy few days of camping, or a slower, more relaxed weekend, Europe’s got a festival for you. We’ve put together a list of our favourite festivals coming up this summer. And if you’re off on holiday – festival or otherwise – you may want to check out our packing tips to make sure you’re all set for your perfect summer holiday.

Summer means (most) people have a little more time on their hands, making this the perfect time to take up a new hobby. The crystal clear waters of the Maltese islands, numerous wrecks and incredible underwater caves put Malta at the top of best scuba diving destination lists. Mandy Farrugia talks to diving instructor, Richard Ponec, about what is most appealing to him about spending so much of his life under the surface.
