Friday presents local boxing enthusiasts with yet another Big Night of Boxing with 10 supporting bouts between Maltese and mainly British boxers, all semi-pro EBF members, as a prelude to Billy Corito's, the ‘Hit Man', next big fight.

Here Corito will be facing twenty-seven year-old Austrian boxer Florian Guttmann with over forty fights to his boxing career. As a professional boxer he had four fights so far with one win. The fight between the two boxers having professional status will be made up of six sessions of 3minutes each and will be sanctioned by the Malta Boxing Council.

As usual Billy has been seriously preparing for this fight particularly during the past three weeks where he trained under the expert eye of UK coach Shea Neary and trainer George Schofield who both had positive feedback on the Maltese boxer. George Schofield will be corner-man for Corito on Friday night. The ‘Hit Man' also followed a sturdy physical fitness build-up programme under the constant guidance of Haithem Laamouz held at the Lords Gym and the weights sessions at Bertu Gym.

The ten supporting bouts on the Fight Card, which also include a number of ‘Belts' determining encounters, will each be made up of four sessions of 2mins each session. These read:

1. Super Bantamweight - Lyndon Chircop v Paul Gubb (EBF); 2. Welterweight - Etienne ‘Buddy' Spiteri v Naheem Chaundry (EBF); 3. Middleweight - Renald Tabone v Lawrence Wade (EBF); 4.
