La Liga may have the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but speaking at his weekly press conference, the Arsenal boss believes the Premier League is unrivalled for its level of quality.

"All the good players play here."

Wenger explained, "When you look at the top-quality players that come into the Premier League now, basically we have all of the best attacking players in Europe here. The creative players also play in England. If you look at the big clubs, [they have] the huge financial potential and huge offensive power."

He may have a point too. In the last few months alone Angel Di Maria, Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and Alexis Sanchez have all traded Spain for a new life in England, while Radamel Falcao arrived from Monaco.

During the summer Hull City spent more on players than Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus combined, something that would have been completely unthinkable just a few years ago. But Wenger believes it is helping English clubs and the Premier League as a whole become ever stronger over their European rivals.

"I believe as well that the financial potential of the English Premier League allows lower clubs with less financial potential to buy the best players in Europe, because the clubs in the second half of the Premier League still have more financial potential than Italian and Spanish clubs."
