BOV GFA Player of the Month

Oratory Youths’ Brazilian forward Youths Thiago Melo Dos Santos is the BOV GFA Player of the Month for March 2015.

Dos Santos joined Oratory Youths at the beginning of this football season after a long career in Gozitan Football with Għajnsielem, Xagħra United and Xewkija Tigers.

Dos Santos was a main protagonist in the Youths’ reaching the GFA Knockout Final as well as the GFA League. Dos Santos distinguished himself during March with spectacular goals against St Lawrence Spurs and SK Victoria Wanderers during the second round of the championship.

Dos Santos fine performances also extended to the relegation pool where he scored both of his teams’ goals in identical 2-1 defeats to St Lawrence and Victoria.

Horace Laudi, Bank of Valletta’s Gozo Regional Manager presented the BOV GFA Player of the Month trophy for March 2015 to Dos Santos. Fondazzjoni Arka was selected by the player to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
