MFA and players’ association in resolution over Sevasta affair

Malta Football Associaton withdraws previous suspension involving any communication between both parties

The Malta Football Association publicly acknowledged satisfaction on a recent statement by the Malta Football Players Association on the issue involving Emanuel Sevasta and his club St Georges, and the involvement of MFA officials in the case.

In a public statement, the MFA said it had withdrawn any suspension of communication with the Players’ Association, and that it considered the case closed.

The MFA had earlier demanded an apology from members of the MFPA, threatening legal action unless it withdrew “damaging” allegations.
