GO retains Premier League and Serie A, adds Emirates FA Cup

GO has once again secured the exclusive rights to broadcast the English Premier League. Over the coming three seasons running from 2016/17 until 2018/19, GO Sports will broadcast 380 matches per year. In addition, GO has also secured exclusive rights for the next two seasons for the Emirates FA Cup and the Italian Serie A.

Commenting on these prestigious sports acquisitions, GO’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Yiannos  Michaelides said: “GO is excited to have retained exclusive rights to the Premier League, Serie A and now also the Emirates FA Cup,  the latter after the absence of 4 seasons. These long-term partnerships with the most prestigious and admired football championships are a central part of GO’s ongoing mission to provide the best in TV content and broadband packages to its customers.”

For the upcoming season, GO Sports customers can enjoy 380 English Premier League matches per season with 200 to be shown live and 180 on a 2 hour delay, 380 live Italian Serie A matches, all of which will be broadcast with Italian commentary, and 60 Live Emirates FA Cup matches which will now return to GO Sports.
