Twenty year-old Dembele will not be joining Barcelona, despite some suggestions to the contrary, with Chelsea and Manchester United on red alert.

Dembele showed his class and scored his first international goal, the winner in France's 3-2 victory over England in their friendly international on Paris on June 13, and is determined to push through on a move away from the Bundeliga giants after Tuchel's departure.

According to sources, he has been badly affected by the exit of Tuchel, the man who brought him to Germany from Rennes for €15m on a five-year contract a year ago.

Dortmund are likely to demand €80m to sanction the release of the player, but such a figure won't put off Chelsea or United.

The former Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year rejected the chance to join Leicester City a year ago, but could be willing to move to one of the traditional powerhouses in the English game.
