The greens went ahead on the 21st minute. Maurizio Vella sent a stunning shot from a free-kick that gave Andreas Vella no chance.

Floriana suffered a setback on the 58th minute when Arthur Oyama was sent off following a foul on David Ifeanyi Nworah.

Despite having a player less, Floriana managed to score again on the 75th minute. Davide Mansi brought down Maurizio Vella inside the penalty area and the referee signalled for a penalty. From the eleven metres mark, Steve Pisani made no mistake.

However, Mosta hit back and managed to score two goals that earned them an important point.

First it was Ivan Maric who managed to place the ball past Ini Etim Akpan following a cross from Edison Zarate.

On the 89th minute, Mosta ended up in ten men as well when Maric received a red card after hitting Enrico Pepe.

The drama continued on the 93rd minute since Mosta equalised through a header from Tyrone Farrugia.
