Balzan climbed third after a 5-0 win over Mosta.

Balzan went ahead after thirteen minutes. Alfred Effiong delivered a cross towards Bojan Kaljevic who head home past Andreas Vella.

Marko Micovic’s side increased their advantage on the 66th minute. From a corner, Fenech sent a cross that went into the path of Elkin Serrano Valero whose header gave Vella no chance.

Balzan sealed the issue nine minutes later. Following a fast counter attack, Kaljeic served Effiong and the latter saw his drive ending up inside the net.

Serrano Valero added another on the 79th minute. The Colombian player received a pass from Effiong and placed the ball inside the net.

Balzan completed an excellent second half performance with another goal on the 86th minute. Following another corner, Effiong headed the ball inside the net.

Things went from bad to worse for Mosta on the 88th minute when Davide Mansi was shown his second yellow card.
