Andrew Cohen’s dramatic goal late in the game earned Gżira a point as they shared the spoils with Mosta in a 3-3 draw.

Mosta forged ahead on the 9th minute. Juri Cisotti’s delivery from a corner went into the path of Rafael Morisco da Silva and the latter headed the ball inside the net.

Mark Miller’s men doubled their advantage on the 58th minute. Akeem Garnet Roach drilled a shot from the edge of the penalty area that gave Justin Haber no chance.

The Maroons reduced the gap on the 83rd minute. Roderick Briffa’s cross from a corner was met by Jorginho whose header stamped off the upright. The rebound went into the path of Edison Bilbao Zarate who placed the ball inside the net.

Gżira equalised on the 88th minute. Cohen unleashed a shot from the left that went past Andreas Vella.

Mosta regained the lead two minutes later. Cisotti served Roach and the player from Trinidad and Tobago slotted the ball home.

The same player was sent off two minutes later as he was shown his second yellow card of the match.

However, drama continued as Gżira equalised again. Following a cross by Thomas Veronese, Cohen finished home.
