For the past fifteen consecutive years Kellogg’s has actively worked together with the Skolasport programme in developing sport talents and encouraging healthy lifestyles among both the young and adult Maltese generation.”

The End of Year show was also addressed by KMS Chairman Hon. Luciano Busuttil who said that this year’s Skola Sport programme welcomed more than 4000 participants and is aiming to increase this number each year. Moreover KMS is continuously investing in human resources to be able to accommodate such large numbers by employing a number of qualified coaches and offering them training.

In his address KMS Acting CEO Mark Cutajar said that KMS is always striving to get sports and physical activity in the lives of people within the community. He said that KMS will now continue to do so through its summer programme Summer on The Move that has now been extended also to localities such as Park tal-Familja in Mellieha and The Basketball Pavilion in Ta’ Qali.

This will provide more accessibility and will reach out to a bigger number of families. He closed his speech by encouraging parents to move and to get their children to move so that all together we beat the high rate of inactivity presently in Malta.
