Alex Borg to take part in the China Open

Maltese professional player Alex Borg will leave Malta tomorrow to go to China where he will be taking part in the finals of the China Snooker Open organised by the World Snooker Association.

Borg qualified for the final phase following January’s 5-1 win over English player Jack Lisowski. The Maltese player will be in action next Monday at 3 a.m. (local time) against Niu Zhuang of China. The winner of this match will face Ricky Walden of England next Tuesday at 2.30 p.m. (local time). All matches will be decided upon the best out of nine frames.

The tournament will end on Sunday 2nd of April.
