IFBB President Rafael Santonja meets the Maltese National Olympic Committee

President Santonja, joined by Pawel Filleborn, Chairman of IFBB Judges Committee, and Ralph DeCelis, President of the Maltese Federation, visited the Maltese Olympic Committee, holding a very fruitful meeting with President Julian Pace Bonello, sharing common views and projects.

Following the previous meeting with the Cyprus Olympic Committee and other federations, the IFBB is looking forward to its possible participation at the Games for the Small States of Europe, with Malta one of the nation’s electable to participate.

Bodybuilding is a very popular sport in Malta. With the recent success of thier athletes, Malta has become one of the leaders in the interanational scene. The Maltese Federation is one of the national federations present in the IFBB Foundation Congress held in Belgrade.
