GBS Malta will host its inaugural graduation at the Dragonara Point Ballroom, Westin Dragonara Resort, on Tuesday, 18th November.

The institution is shaping tomorrow’s professionals by providing them with practical, sector-relevant training to not only boost their career prospects, but also the Maltese economy.

Since opening its doors, GBS Malta has been steadily building a community of learners who combine theory with real-world experience. From flexible MBA pathways to creative and technical modules, every programme is built around one promise – education that adapts to life, not the other way round. Students do more than study business or management; they live it by applying what they learn to real projects, workplaces and community projects.

“Education at GBS Malta feels alive,” says a local business management student, describing how the on-campus laboratories are places for collaboration, mentorship and discovery. “We’re encouraged to think like professionals, not just students.”

Among the graduates preparing to cross the stage are many from the MBA in Project Management pathway programme, now accredited by the Association of Project Management (APM). This endorsement has added strong global recognition to the Malta-based institution, reinforcing its credibility and opening more pathways for future professionals.

The student stories vary – one Indian MBA candidate worked part-time at a Maltese logistics firm while completing his degree, while another Maltese student combined full-time work and evening lectures, taking advantage of GBS Malta’s hybrid study model. Together, they illustrate what GBS Malta stands for: accessible, flexible and forward-thinking education for a diverse Malta.

The institution is part of Global Education (GEDU), an organisation supporting more than 80,000 students across 16 countries. Yet, what sets GBS Malta apart is how it localises this global vision, bridging Maltese business culture with international standards.

“We can’t wait for the big day next week,” said GBS Malta’s Director of Operations, Europe, Allen Lofaro. “GBS Malta works to equip students with the skills they need to be job-ready from the day they graduate”.

“There is such an economic boom here at the moment, with a demand for jobs across high-tech and high-growth sectors”.

“This means that if institutions like us ensure we provide graduates with relevant experience, these people stay here in Malta, boosting the local economy and the long-term prospects of the nation”.

“We welcome students from all around the world to study here, but we want them to stay after they graduate. We also want more local students to realise the education they need to succeed is right here on their doorstep.”

The upcoming ceremony represents more than just a milestone for the graduates; it also marks Malta’s growing importance in the higher education sector. Media, families, and members of the public are invited to join in the excitement and follow GBS Malta’s social media channels for live updates and stories from the event.

Indeed, when the first group of GBS Malta graduates step forward this November, they will be doing more than just collecting certificates – they will be shaping the future of Malta’s professional community.
