Australia always been a dream? Make it come true with Emirates

Emirates will be introducing passengers to a fourth daily service to Dubai from Sydney, increasing capacity on the root by almost 7,000 seats a week

Emirates is set to introduce customers to a fourth daily service from Dubai to Sydney, as of 25 March, 2018, which will go hand in hand with its pre-existing three daily A380 aircraft services.

Dedicated to improving connections globally, the airline will increase passenger capacity on the root by almost 6,900 seats per week, representing a 7.3% increase in capacity for Emirates’ Australian services.

This move will provide those travelling from Europe and North Africa with greater connectivity to the beautiful land of Australia, building on Emirates’ partnership with Qantas and complementing their re-routing of current Sydney to London services via Singapore (instead of Dubai).

The brand new service allows passengers a sweet afternoon departure from Sydney (which allows you the perfect amount of time to have a nice, relaxing lunch) and convenient arrival in main European cities by the next morning. The new service also introduces the option of departing from London and other main European cities, bright and early in the morning, with an afternoon arrival in Sydney the following day (if you prefer long-winded, relaxed dinners instead), with a short connection in Dubai.

Now you can enjoy the seamless “A380 to A380” connections to 48 destinations within Emirates’ ever-expanding global network via its strategic hub in Dubai.

Earlier this year, Emirates announced their plans of enhancing their Australian services, with a third daily service set to be introduced between Dubai and Brisbane as of 1 December, 2017, operated by a B77702—LR. They also plan on upgrading their third daily flight between Dubai and Melbourne, from a B7777-300ER to a smooth A380, from 25 March, 2018. This move will ensure that all three of Emirates’ daily flights to the Australian town will be serviced by the A380 aircraft.

Fly Emirates and enjoy over 2,500 channels on their award-winning in-flight entertainment system ice, gourmet food and delicious wine, across all classes, as well as the helpful generous baggage allowances. What’s more, Emirates also recently improved its on-board connectivity with up to 20MB of complementary Wi-Fi.

Between the 25 and 30 March, 2018, inbound service EK416 will depart from Dubai at 8:40pm, and arrive in Sydney at 5:20pm the next day. Due to daylight savings, from 31 March, 2018, the arrival time changes to 4:50pm the next day, which for some reason, sounds even more impressive.

Between the 26 and 31 March, 2018, the outbound service EK417 will depart from Sydney at 5:05pm and arrive in Dubai at 12:25am the next day. Again, daylight savings from 1 April  cause the outbound service EK417 to depart from Sydney at 4:15pm and arrive at the exact same time the following day. It goes without saying – all services will be operated by an A380 aircraft.

The A380 offers passengers 489 seats in a three-class cabin with 14 stunning private suites in First Class, 76 flat-bed seats in Business Class and 399 spacious seats in Economy.

The airline currently operates 77 weekly flights from Dubai to Australia, making your journey that much more exciting, as you can land in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide – the choice is yours! The third daily service to Brisbane and fourth to Sydney brings on another 91 weekly flights.

Emirates also operates daily scheduled flights between Malta and Dubai via Larnaca in Cyprus, on a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
