Environment minister lauds celebration of sustainable living by The Bubble

The Bubble 2015, which will be held between the 25 and 27 September in Għajn Tuffieħa, will celebrate sustainable living through contemporary music, food, walks, artistic expression and yoga

Addressing the launch of The Bubble 2015, which will be held between the 25 and 27 September, minister for the environment and climate change Leo Brincat described this positive activity that will be held in the Għajn Tuffieħa area as an end-of-summer event that celebrates sustainable living.

He added that it will be doing this creatively and imaginatively through contemporary music, fresh and healthy food, nature and herbal walks, artistic expression, dance, the promotion of fair trade and yoga sessions on the beach in a natural setting.

He praised the organisers as well as the eNGOs involved, mainly The Gaia Foundation, Right2Smile and Why Not? for their initiative.

Brincat also thanked Global Green Events for co-ordinating this activity given their proven track record on the local scene.

While auguring that The Bubble 2015 will pave the way for The Bubble 2016, and other events yet to come, Brincat called for more non-profit making activities to be organised, whereby the organisers will manage to think outside the box and come forward with fresh and original ideas as in the case of this festival.
