Chickpea and white bean pitas

These easy chickpea and white bean pitas are perfect for school lunchboxes or even from grown ups to take to work. Michael Diacono’s recipe is packed full of protein and crunchy veggies they will keep you going until you get home. 

Chickpea and white bean pitas

Ingredients

  • 1 tin chickpeas
  • 1 tin white beans
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ lemon
  • Olive oil
  • Pitas
  • Carrots
  • Cherry tomato

Method

1.Whizz in a blender until smooth

2.Stuff with bean paste, carrots and tomatoes.
