Carrot sticks with peanut dip

Kids love to dip and they will love the sweet and savoury mixture of this peanut butter and soy dipping sauce. Try Sean Gravina’s recipe which is easy enough to get the kids involved in preparation.

Carrot sticks with peanut dip

  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • A splash soy sauce
  • A few drops sesame oil
  • Water, to loosen
  • Carrot sticks
  • Basil

  1. Mix everything but the carrot sticks together with a fork or whisk in a bowl.
  2. Add water as needed to thin mixture to a dipping consistency (all-natural peanut butter needs more; everyday brands need less).
  3. Shave the skin off the carrots and cut into sticks and serve with the dipping sauce.
