Carrot and cheese balls

Kids love the taste of cheese but often don’t get enough vegetables in. Sean Gravina has an easy way of getting kids to eat their veggies, by hiding them in cheese!

Carrot and cheese balls

  • 115g cold cream cheese
  • 60g cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • 1 carrot, finely grated

  1. In a medium bowl, with a wooden spoon, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and carrot.
  2. With moistened hands, gently form 12 balls, each equal to 1 level tablespoon of mixture.
  3. Serve or refrigerate, covered with plastic wrap, up to 2 days.
