Man dies while swimming at Dwejra

A 60-year-old man died in Dwejra on Sunday after facing difficulties while swimming.

The incident occurred at 5:15pm.

Police said the man from Msida, was taken ashore by people on site, who included a police officer.

A medical team certified him dead on site.

Magistrate Simone Grech is leading an inquiry.
