Man seriously injured after being hit by car in St Julian's

The 61-year-old from England was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment

The accident occurred at around 1:45pm in Triq Sant’Andrija

A 61-year-old man was seriously injured after being hit by a car in St Julian’s on Sunday afternoon.

The accident occurred at around 1:45pm in Triq Sant’Andrija.

Police said the man from England was hit by a Jaguar driven by a 52-year-old Msida resident.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.

A police investigation is ongoing.
