A man was critically injured in Gżira after falling from a ladder.

Police said that on Saturday at around 8.30am, a 74-year-old man from Gżira fell from a ladder at Triq Sir Andrew Cameron.

A medical team took the man to Mater Dei hospital, where he was certified as seriously injured.

Magistrate Monica Vella is leading an inquiry and police investigations are ongoing.
