Civil Protection extinguish car on fire in St Paul’s Bay

In a statement, Police said that members of the Civil Protection Department extinguished a car that was caught fire in Triq Efesu in St Paul's Bay on Sunday morning.

Police said they were informed of the incident at around 6 am, and controlled the flames until CPD members arrived on the scene and extinguished the flames.

The car, a Toyota RAV 4, was not extensively damaged, and nobody was injured in the incident.

Magistrate Dr D Clarke LLD was informed of the case, and investigations are underway.
