Tourist runs over two police officers at airport

Two police officers were run over by a car driven by a tourist outside the Malta International Airport police station.

The incident happened at around 3pm. A Spanish man, 58, was driving the car.

The policemen were taken to Mater Dei for medical treatment, having sustained grievous injuries.
